Trigger Warning: I'm off the reservation on 'getting them back to their desks'

It's a phrase my fellow conservatives/Trumpers/the GOP have fallen in love with. But I've seen workers, in effect, bolted to their desks and I'm not sure it was such a boon to productivity

It’s become a mantra on the right: Get them back to their desks. Everything will be great if we could just get them back to the office.

And I realize they’re talking about the federal workers whose salaries we pay.
